Astralpool Halo Lite 4

The Halo Lite2 controls two lights and the Halo Lite4 controls four, each delivering 12V AC output at a maximum of 1.3 Amps per light. Choose based on how many lights you have now and whether you are likely to add any. Most standard Auckland residential pools run one or two lights, while larger pools and pools with feature lighting often justify the four channel unit.

It is compatible with any single colour light brand, plus multi colour lights from AstralPool (SLX and FLX), Zodiac and Spa Electrics. That covers the majority of lights installed on Auckland pools. That is the maximum current the controller supplies to each light channel. Most LED pool lights sit comfortably within it. If you have older or higher draw lights, the load needs checking first, which we do as part of the quote so there are no surprises.

Yes. Halo Lite is part of the wider AstralPool Halo family, which includes chlorination, dosing and expansion modules. Starting with lighting and adding chemistry or automation later is a sensible way to spread the investment, and the system is designed for it.

LED pool lights typically give many years of service, though performance depends on water balance, seal condition and how often the light is run out of water. If your lights are dimming, flickering or showing colour drift, that is usually the light rather than the controller, and worth having assessed before you invest in control.
