FIXED-MONTHLY-RATE (PCM) valets + STANDARD valet services

  • We will NOT accept liability for any green pool (or other adverse) conditions which might arise as a consequence of suspension of service to customer, or as a result of any conditions beyond our reasonable control, eg equipment failure, high cyanuric acid or phosphate levels, weather extremes, inappropriate frequency regimes selected against our recommendation.
  • In the case of 2-weekly frequencies, or better, we will take liability for your pool’s continuing hygienic condition, (providing that reasonable conditions prevail and contributing factors were within our control).
  • We do not recommend a 4-weekly visit frequency to any pool-owner.
  • During the period that any 4-weekly frequency might apply, as a result of the client’s instruction, we are not pragmatically able to accept any liability for pool conditions, between our regular visits when the frequency is so low.
  • We will, in some instances, refuse specific service structures or frequencies to customers where we believe that the service type and/or frequency would be inherently problematic / unsatisfactory.
  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that we have well-facilitated access to the property, especially in the case of the owner’s absence. If a serviceman cannot gain access on the scheduled date of service, standard charge for the visit will still apply.
  • Monthly payments can be by manual on-line acquittal, or, in the case of PCM clients only, via an automatic Bankcard debit (arranged with us) or by an AP set up by the client with their Bank
  • If we fail to gain approval for a Bankcard debit because of insufficient funds etc, your service may be immediately suspended until all due charges are caught up in full.
  • We will suspend service to any customer, at our discretion, whose account(s) are overdue
  • We require a minimum 24hours notice (and prefer 48 hrs) to action any requested changes to a valet service type or frequency or to action a cancellation of service
  • All pools must be in a fair condition (hygienic, balanced and clear) before any regular scheduled service can begin, including FMR valets. If a pool needs to be restored to proper hygienic condition, prior to the application of standard valet charges, this recovery work will be undertaken at our normal ‘service labour’ rates.
    Our standard ‘labour’ rate for service technician work is $110.50+gst per hour
  • The intent of fixed-monthly-rate (pcm) options is that the service be retained all-year-round.  The annual nature of PCM rates reflects the method by which we calculate the monthly cost. To calculate, we allow for labour for number of visits relevant to each option, adding in reasonable anticipated annual cost of chemicals, including regular maintenance chemicals and occasional water therapies, eg calcium hardener, phosphate starver, winterising algaecides etc. This complete annual total is divided by 12, making 12 equal instalments.
  • An additional charge of up to $20+gst pcm may apply if you want also to include a spa pool in your valet service, or if your pool has a capacity in excess of 80000ltrs.
  • An additional surcharge of $15-$30+gst (pcm) will apply if you live in outlying areas of Auckland or in the inner city where parking is difficult.
  • We apply a discretionary discount on various total identified annual component costs. Rate of discount is applied according primarily according to service frequency. These discounts, when applied, are already allowed for in the PCM costs quoted.
  • The acceptance of a PCM service does not preclude additional labour costs arising (and being charged) from time to time, in response to extra valet labour time spent resolving circumstances beyond our reasonable control, eg storm damage; heat wave conditions etc.
  • Any applicable PCM rate does NOT cover costs for the additional supplies of smaller items of pool equipment. Minor pool equipment items will be replaced automatically during a valet service visit, as the need arises; eg skimmer or pump baskets, auto-cleaner hose sections etc. These will usually be charged separate to the monthly valet invoice, through the client’s separate service account.
  • The valet service does NOT cover any costs for the additional supplies of any other services, eg equipment supplies or installations; repairs; renovations etc.
