We have owned our house (and pool) for over 20 years. When we first moved in we thought we could manage the pool ourselves, but it soon became evident that we couldn’t. After trying a number of different companies and getting extremely frustrated with the shoddy service, we finally discovered Sparkling Pools (about 15 years ago), and we’ve never looked back.
Grant and his team provide an excellent service, regular valet visits and other maintenance when required, which due to their excellent care of the pool hasn’t been too often. And when the odd thing does go wrong, they are very quick to respond.
Everyone remarks on how good the pool looks, all year round, which is important to us as we look down on it from the house and it is a big part of our view.

Last winter, Sparkling Pools undertook the renovation of our swimming pool. Sparkling Pools did a terrific job and we were delighted with the results.
SPL’s performance throughout the project was very professional. Senior management constantly checked the work at different stages and they maintained excellent communication with us throughout.
We are happy to commend Sparkling Pools to other Auckland pool-owners who might be considering pool interior renovations or equipment upgrades, particularly noting their reliability, their professionalism and the obvious pride they take in their work and their products. Subsequent to the pool renovations, SPL has continued to look after our pool on a regular basis and we are very happy to have them do so. With SPL looking after our pool, it is now one aspect of property care I never have to worry about.
We have had a pool for over 35 years which has been looked after by various members of the family. When it became apparent that the pool was in need of painting/resurfacing, we made contact with Sparkling Pools. We were dreading the thought of the disruption, noise, dirt and having contractors on site for several weeks.
We had the pleasure of meeting Grant whose considerable knowledge of swimming pools is so impressive. He checked out not only the pool finish, advised us of the various alternatives open to us, but also the machinery and ancillary equipment. We were so impressed that we gave Sparkling Pools our contract to resurface and we enjoyed a textbook example of a perfect contract.
It turned out that our initial fears and worries were groundless. Both the start and finish dates were met, the contractors kept us fully informed of what would happen each step of the way and were a pleasure to have onsite. There was no mess to clean up afterwards and Grant always checked and double checked every part of the operation.
We have taken advantage of their valet service and quickly realised how much time we wasted over the years in trying to maintain our pool ourselves. We now have crystal clear water as it is always perfectly balanced, and are delighted to have such efficient staff look after us on a continuing basis.

In November, my partner and I purchased a property with a swimming pool and spa. Having never previously owned a property with pool facilities, we relied on Grant, Julia and the rest of the team at Sparkling Pools to bring us up to speed with what was required to keep the pool in order.
Combined with this, some pool equipment components had been neglected by previous owners; Grant made time to come and carry out a complimentary inspection of the pool, from a holistic perspective, and to give us detailed feedback on what improvements (heating, filtration equipment, covers etc) we could make, over time, bearing our budget in mind.
The pool and spa are now looked after on a regular basis by Sparkling Pools on a specific customised maintenance plan. Denis (our dedicated valet man) comes on time, on the same week-day each time, and he does a great job maintaining the pool.
We love the team from Sparkling Pools and we love the service we get from them. The pool and spa always look and feel fantastic, and looking after them is one job we just never have to worry about!
We had a ferro pool, put in some 30 years ago, which had been painted several years back by a Pakuranga Pool Company. It was never right from soon after they did this so the decision was made to re-plaster this year.
We had two quotes and went with Sparkling Pools on price and reputation.They arrived when they said they would, their workers were excellent and, even when an unexpected rain shower caught the job they corrected the damage promptly at no cost to us. The finished pool looks great!

I have been a customer of Sparkling Pools for over a decade now and I just wanted to let you know that the service is as great as ever. Our pool had a rough January, what with the weather and no-one being around to care for it, and so it ended up quite green, with algae embedded onto the pool surface. Sean came to service it for us and turned an ugly duckling into a clear sparkling pool, as good as the day it was built. He monitored it for over a week and ensured we had a great outcome. We really appreciate SPL’s dedication.
I would very much like to say a big thank you to your tean for the service provided. Sean was very professional and efficient and fixed a leak in our pool that another company had failed to locate and who had basically just stopped responding to my calls.
